My '03 is coming up on the 30k mark... and I wanna bring it in for a 30k tune up and not do it myself or have a friend do it (I want records just incase I do trade/sell) anyone know where I can have this done for a fair price? I'm a student btw so not much money on hand heh

I am not sure where to get your 30k tune up done for a fair price although my 02GT is due for a 30k tune up so when you find someone let me know.Thanks...

Look into your service manual. 30K you can do yourself and save big cash.

I wanna save the money but I also want records of it for the unlikely event I sell my car

I just keep a reciept of every part I have done and write the mileage on the reciept. I've had no problems selling cars that way and I've sold at least 10 cars in the last twoish years. What's recommended at 30k? Oil, plugs, rotate tires?

here's what the 30k mi service calls for for an 03.

48,000 Km (30,000 Miles)

Change engine oil and install a new oil filter.
Inspect brake pads, shoes, rotors, drums, brake lines, hoses and parking brake system.
Inspect wheel ends for end play and noise.
Inspect engine cooling system and hoses.
Inspect exhaust system and heat shields.
Inspect steering linkage, suspension and (if equipped) driveshaft and ball joints.
Rotate tires and inspect for wear.
Install a new engine air filter.
Install a new fuel filter. (See ADDITIONAL INFORMATION below.)
If equipped, install a new cabin air filter.
Change automatic transmission/transaxle fluid on all vehicles equipped with AX4S, 4F50N, 4R100, 4F27E. Inspect automatic transmission fluid level using dipstick on all other vehicles, if equipped.
If equipped, install new climate controlled seat filters (Navigator, Lincoln LS and Aviator).
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: If vehicle is registered in California, the California Air Resources Board (CARB) has determined that failure to install a new fuel filter at this interval will not nullify the emission warranty or limit recall liability prior to completion of the vehicle's useful life. It is, however, recommended that maintenance checks be carried out and recorded at the indicated intervals.

Natural gas and propane vehicles also require checking the fuel tanks and installing a new filter (propane vehicles).
