brakes are vary important. i thaught i had good brakes till i drove my buddy gt who i did a cobra brake swap on (same as mine) and i realized somthing was wrong with mine. after a month i kinda forgot about it. my last trip to thunderhill i lost the brakes at the end of the back straight 90mph and was coming up to a sharp right hander.... i rememberd my problem real quick. after i got home i vowed to fix it.... we went on the norcal cruise and when we came around the right hander and everone was stopped i rememberd once again... so this friday when i was at work i did rotors pads and a dot5 flush. still suck ass.. so i have to get a hydraboost $380. my cost and 4 weeks out.....grrrr

The Force 10" with the 13" rotors is the kit I'm currently looking at, if I pick it I just need some help with the install as I don't have all the tools need to complete it. Can I send my horse to pick up and bring ya down to Lodi .. :)

the install is quick and easy. it took me pull car in pull car out 45 minutes to do the gt to cobra swap.. i have a shop that brian just came by and saw. so we could do it here on a weekend kinda the buddy deal or on a week day (if you dont mind paying) but i think you would be happy with the $499. cobra swap

I know exactly how you feel, I have a 65 fastback and 69 Bronco and drive those around with no smog at all popping wheelies in the Bronco and going crazy and no one says boo but try adding a power adder like NOS and the world comes to a halt to process the up standing citizen.

ya.. sorry to freak out. i had a saturn back when the whole "fast and the stupid" thing started i was younger but i did a turbo jit and nitrous and a bunch of one off work. carbon wraped everything. the car got stolen and i faught with insurance over the 12g's i put in it. i said i had aftermarket items they said no problem just bring pics and recipts so i did and when i showed them pics and they saw the $12,000. price tag before the car they totaled they said "well your car was modified and had "nos" so we arnt liable to cover that stuff" i was pissed saved for a new car financed it and used the cash i saved for the parts abd then it was all gone.. so.. ya how is your day almost 5 :)

nitrous is legal to a certian point in CA.....u can have the bottle in your car just not hooked up..same as under the hood....just detach from the throttle spacer if u have that kit or just pull the nozzle and cap the hole on the intake if u have that set up...they cant touch if u r like that

not to be a dick but its not NO2... its N2O.. nitrous oxide is 2 parts nitrogen and 1 part oxygen. NO2 is like nitrogen dioxide or nitronium ion, which all off on a different tangent.

(cuz i got fired and almost went to jail..
