My cousin is lookin for a 65 or 66 fastback. Done car or partial project is fine. Something straight & with minimal rust tho. He was considering a Cadillac CTS-V, but the fastback has been his dream car so I told him I'd help him find one. Serious buyer. He just checked out this one out earlier today:

Looking at the seats, It looks like it may of originally had a dark green exterior.
Forgot the CC name.

Looks like it's in fine shape.

BTW, the dash is out of a '66. '65' was the last year of no padded dashes. Maybe the light from the pic makes it look different?

If I remember, you had to shim the front end to do an alignment.
I'm hoping It was just a dream, or mightmare.

That looks like the good ole Lime Gold color. :nonono1: Very popular for some reason in that era. Our 70 was that color and crappy thing is all those cars had that green interior too so you are pretty much committed to a green respray even if you change the hue of green. I think we are gonna go with white, cause that goes with anything.

Don't know of any that year fastbacks around Nick, sorry. :(

My cuzzin just bought one from Redding from an older guy. He actually had the guy drive the car to Antioch. Guaranteed him $200 for gas, just in case he wasn't gonna buy it:D It's a silver '66 with white interior/black carpet with a 4 speed. He's already inquiring on doin the EFI/T5 combo in it.

That is a nice ride.. I would put a new FI/ EI/ Carb system into it. Stroker engines are cheap these days also .. you can get a CHP 331 or 347 with AFR heads for only about $4500.
