Default Foush- coyote swap

I'm going to go ahead with the Coyote swap on my 01 Mustang. Yesterday I purchased the coyote Aluminator and control pack. I haven't decided on headers yet, no one makes shorties for the coyote swap. Bbk lists their long tubes as carb legal in 50 states I ran the carb number in the bar smog website and it comes up as carb approved. I don't understand how they are legal here if long tubes are not legal in Cali.

So, so far my list is:
Coyote Aluminator- purchased
Control pack- purchased
Alternator- Purhased
Kooks LT- purchased
Mid pipe - not yet (will my current one work?)
Oil pan- not yet purchased
Starter- not yet purchased
Whipple- purchased
Radiator- Ron Davis? With custom overflow- Unsure

Opinions, suggestions and ideas are welcome.

Motor will come out sometime in September, I'm going to have leak down and compression tests done so I know motor is good before I sell it and folks interested can inspect it while it runs.

Thanks, I'm just buying parts and sending them up there.

I'm gonna go with the Kooks headers, I have them on my current setup and the sound and quality is awesome. To bad the mid pipe I've got now won't work.. Also started looking into the Whipple supercharger but apparently no one makes a bracket kit for the front feed Whipple. I haven't been able to find anyone who's done a 2015 coyote swap with that front feed blower.

Are you going with 15-16 complete motor or a 11-14 complete motor?

I would go with the Whipple 2.9.. It should all bolt onto the 15/16 engine, it's just getting it all to fit in the engine bay.

It'll bolt on the engine.. The issue is the accessories bolting to the motor... No one makes a kit that works with the front feed. I already talked to power by the hour they said I'd have to find a rear feed supercharger... Im going to order the new 2.9 front feed and if something needs to be fabbed it'll have to be done. I can have my detailer draw it up on the computer if needed for a machine shop to make.

Right now I'm pulling dash for heater core, installing my new Wilwood rear brakes, also got some carbon fiber bezels to install. With the new location of the coyote intake I'll lose that canton battery location intercooler reservoir, so I asked Sal to make me one for the spare tire well. Motor will come out by the end of September if it's not sold before that. Need to strip the engine bay so it can be painted. I also need to contact Ron Davis for a custom radiator, fan & shroud With integrated overflow. I want to have the car up at AED in December.

Big project. Why did you choose the 15/16 over the 13/14 setup?
